<image:caption>Making the ordinary, extraordinary. In these displays the incredible possibilities within ordinary items were highlighted. Materials were put through beautiful transformations creating end results that are abstracted at times and representational at others. Some are very recognizable, while others are a bit more of a discovery. Everyday items such as toothpics were used to create desert cactus spines, chicken wire to form animal busts and shipping tags to create leaves.</image:caption>

<image:caption>By the Sea explores the oceanic theme through many perspectives. This season embraced a comprehensive theme which has many manifestations of ideas from large scale to small scale, from abstracted to literal. We explore the sea from a sculptural wave made of scavenged driftwood to handmade buoys. From a gigantic rope installation to a flock of paper seabird silhouettes.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Tassels is an installation based concept that explores a simple composition yet an activation of space. By keeping the composition calm the mass of tassels can be showcased. It is a mixed material palette that emphasizes the vertical line, texture and repetition The tassels combine hard and soft texture as well as graphic and organic. A touch of the hand is showcased by dye technique, lashing and handmade wooden beads. .</image:caption>

It is graphic and simple yet the shapes contain incredible possibilities. Plexi jewels were hand cut and layered to create hanging totems. They were elegantly transformed by hand painted cool tones and thoughtfully assembled with brass hardware.</image:caption>

<image:caption>The Fall of 2018 is collection of displays inspired by texture, color and life seen in nature. Materials were manipulated to create life-like finishes and objects. The store was adorned by a cluster of perforated hammered jewel-like shapes covered in a faux patina finish created with acrylic paint and flour. A large scale garnet medallion sculpture was mounted on a focal wall. Combining fiber art, craftsmanship and a plaster gold leaf finish. A white tailed deer family moved into store for a point of drama. They were covered in a hide made of hand dyed fabric, natural wood dowel antlers and veneer hooves.</image:caption>

Animals from deer to cardinals came out of hiding to help celebrate and narrate the story. These moments of storytelling are paired with elements of nature in a hanging installation of acrylic rods and dried treated flowers.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Mechanomorphic features works on paper that reconcile polar systems of thought, artist/ engineer. Greenwood’s water-based paintings simultaneously explore accident and the imposition of control by juxtaposing recognizable mechanical forms with expressive color washes. These works alienate the meaning of the familiar in order to explain the artist’s everyday existence, action, thought and emotion.</image:caption>

Resonant pigment is intertwined with imaginary landscapes of pictorial abstractions. Watercolor expands over the strategic mark making with spontaneity overcoming the predictability and structure of cognition. Condensing life’s intricacies into a complex of painting, cognition and emotion.</image:caption>
